Research concerns the optimization of Radar Absorbing Strucutres and Microwave Shielidng Strucutres. In order to optimize such structures Genetic Algorithm and Particle Swarm Optimization Algorithm has been adopted.

In the video below an example of PSO algorithm convergence is shown. On x and y axes the sum of thicknesses of each layer of multilayer structure are reported. It is quite evident the minimization of global thickness of structure.

Images below show the final results of the optimization in the X-band frequencies and the Objective Function optimization and minimization.
